Your post-election stress relief
Wow! This week has definitely been one to remember. Whether your candidate won or loss one thing is for certain very little sleep was had Tuesday night. Wednesday morning I had serious raccoon eyes and it wasn’t pretty. Needing some kind of relief I decided to make a soothing eye mask. Eye masks are super easy and don’t take more than 20 minutes. It’s a great project for using fabric scraps. Trace a pair of your favorite sunglasses, add an elastic band and about a cup of rice. I added some Jasmine rice; but you can stir in 10 – 20 drops of essential oils for added benefits (warm in the oven for 15 mins beforehand) and finally stitch the small hole remaining either by hand or machine. Your mask can be warmed in the microwave or throw it in the freezer for a few minutes. It’s that simple!
Now find a quiet place, close your eyes, and relax!
Until next time…
